I Made It!

Well, my freshman year of college is officially over! Never thought the day would come. But at the same time, it came way too fast!! This semester flew by, which was good for the academic part, but I definitely miss Rexburg already.  The end of the semester was stressful, but I tried to enjoy it as much as I could.

1. Missy turned 21! PARTYYY!
I just love these people (:

2. Lauren and I did some studying in the Crossroads and made a new friend
"Studying hard or hardly studying?"

Watching "Now You See Me"

Watching "Les Mis" for the first time

3. I got some ice cream and we had milkshakes (;
Worked hard for that milkshake

4. The Smiths came to visit me!
We ate at the Taco Bus

And it was delicious as always

Ana and Kalia got hit by flying Mexican food...

Family picture!

5. I said goodbye to my choir pals

6. I said goodbye to my best friend :'(
We're cute

Last time eating at Frontier Pies

And then she was gone...

7. Then I said goodbye to Rexburg

So weird

See ya in 2 years!
It really is weird to be done, but I can't say I'm too upset about not having schoolwork to do for 2 years.  I am going to have plenty of work to do, just very different work.  I wish I could explain how excited I am for my mission, but all I can do is show you this picture...
Missionary in Training
I wish I could give a whole blog to all the people who made this semester amazing, but to sum it up, I would not have survived this semester without my beautiful roommates, my extremely talented choir,  my amazing ward, and more than anything, my Savior. I am so incredibly grateful for every person I met and every experience I had this semester, both good and bad.  I have grown so much and learned more about myself than I thought I could.  I thank my Heavenly Father every night for the incredible opportunity I've had to go to BYU-Idaho and live in Rexburg.  It really is an amazing place.

Also, I'm in Utah with my family now and I turn 19 tomorrow! Crazy right?! So my blog next week will be all about my adventures out here with my family (: Have a great week everyone!

Coley

The End is Near

Wow. I've really sucked at blogging recently. I've just been so busy! Which is a good problem to have, especially because I didn't have that problem at all last semester haha.  So sorry mom and dad! I'll catch you up on everything that's happened in the past 3 weeks.

1. (Rainy) bonfire party
This picture doesn't do it justice, the fire was HUGE
Before the rain
After the rain
2. Mini Carnival at Porter Park

Real life angry birds
Cotton candy mustaches are the best kind mustache

3. Choir concert in Twin Falls

Pretty sure everyone on our bus hated us

Oh and Miranda Sings rode our bus on the way home!

4. Choir concert in the Salt Lake Tabernacle

Coolest crew you'll ever meet
Tabernacle selfie!

#stagemakeup
Someone left the MoTab Women's Dressing Room unlocked...
So I decided to take advantage...shhhh!
Elder L. Tom Perry came to watch us and told me we did a wonderful job.
I almost died on the spot.
My Grandma and Grandpa Norton came to see me perform, too.
It's so nice having them just a few hours away when I'm so far from home.

5. Tanning at Monkey Rock

Why had I never been here before??

6. Buffalo Wild Wings with my Idaho family

Wing Man and Sauce Boss

7. 4th of July

We stole these from children at the parade. #NoRagrets
Sparklers are fun
"Get that corn outta my face!"
The fireworks crew in Idaho Falls. I didn't get any pictures of the actual fireworks,
but it was one of the best fireworks shows I've ever seen.

8. Apartment sleepover in the living room

It's really the greatest thing in the world

9. NAHIOMI CAME TO VISIT!

Couldn't ask for better friends than these ones
We took a nice relaxing trip to Lava Hot Springs, or so I thought...
Apparently my instinct when being chased by a clown is to jump into the trunk of a car.
So I probably wouldn't do well in a kidnapping situation...
Making new friends is always fun
Lauren took Nahiomi and I to this adorable place called "Soda Vine" and it was, well, so divine (;
Most delicious soda I've ever had
It's a me! Mario!
So much love for this one.

10. Floating the river

I could spend my whole life floating on this river

11. Cow Appreciation Day

Dress like a cow and get free food?
Heck yes

12. Potterhead Weekend on ABC family

Literally jumped out of my bed and screamed when I found out this was happening
And I'm still watching it as I type this

12. Final choir concert of the semester

Words can't express how much I've loved being a Collegiate Singer this semester

13. I got my Temple Recommend

Just a couple more weeks until I get to be endowed! I can't wait!

14. Idaho is beautiful

Sorry not sorry I take so many pictures of the temple

So pretty much, I love it here and I'm not sure I'm ready to leave quite yet. This week will be my last full week here for almost 2 years and I'm definitely ready to be done with the school part of this semester.  Taking 17 credits kinda takes a toll on you after a while.  But I'm gonna miss this place a whole heck of a lot.  I never thought I'd say I love Rexburg, Idaho...but here I am saying it.

I LOVE REXBURG, IDAHO!

As much as I'm not ready to leave here, though, I am ready to see my family and friends back home and spend as much time with them as possible before I go on my mission, which I'm so excited for! I just have too many emotions about all of this.  I love Idaho, but I miss home.  I want to go on my mission right now, but I'm not ready to be away from everyone for 18 months.  I'm grateful to know that Heavenly Father has a plan for me and that my Savior will carry me every step of the way while my life is changing so much.

Well, that was a lot to catch up on, but I finally got it all done. Have a great week everyone!

Love always,

Coley
